Are you comfy?
Would you give up comfy if you knew you could have more? Someone is
waiting for your answer. Whether your life is perfectly ordered or
looks like a train wreck is not the issue. The reality is that more
is available and it starts with a genuine desire to draw closer to
Jesus Christ. We are told repeatedly in the Bible to abide in the Lord and to
love Him first with all we’ve got. So why don’t we do it? Are we
scared, confused, ignorant, or lazy? Yep.
For years, I was all of the above. God, in His infinite patience,
love and grace, is changing that. I had the perfectly average life.
There was no tremendous tragedy, no great obstacle. Since I was
already “saved”, there was no earthly reason for me to seek more.
Yet, when I finally acknowledged the fact that there is more, I
decided to chase it at all costs. The hope of this book is to awaken
us to the reality that there is more, and to foster the desire to
seek it by telling the humorous, touching and unlikely story of one
man who did it. This is my story.
