Author Biography:
Chris Nooe makes his home in South Lyon, Michigan where he and his
wife Angela have been blessed with everything but the white picket
fence. Even before receiving his master’s degree in Communications
from Ball State University, Chris knew exactly what he wanted to do
with his life- not! He figured h
e could sell stuff, thus began an
illustrious career peddling Information Technology. When not trying
to make a buck, Chris enjoys playing tickle monster with his four
energetic young children and serving as Lay Leader and Contemporary
Worship Director at Commerce United Methodist Church.
Everything
makes sense when Chris is sitting at his drum set and he is thankful
for his simple calling to draw closer to Christ and help others do
the same.
Professional History:
Chris Nooe has nearly 10 years experience leading Christian
worship at Commerce United Methodist Church in Commerce, Michigan.
He is the Director of Contemporary Worship Services and the Lay
Leader of the 300-member congregation. As lay leader, Chris performs
preaching, teaching and leadership duties in assistance to the
Senior Pastor. Professionally, Chris has 14 years experience in
Information Technology sales and management, servicing numerous
Fortune 500 companies.
Educational History:
Chris received a Masters Degree in Communications from Ball
State University in Muncie, Indiana in 1994. Chris also received a
Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications from Ball State in 1993.
